The RECOMB/ISCB Conference on Regulatory and Systems Genomics, with DREAM Challenges is one of the premier annual meetings in the fields of regulatory genomics, systems biology, and network visualization. This multidisciplinary conference brings together both computational and experimental researchers from across the world to discuss recent discoveries about genomic and molecular regulatory networks as well as innovative, integrative methods for developing a systems-level understanding of biological activity.
RECOMB-RSG 2026
Dear Colleagues,
We are excited to announce RECOMB-RSG 2026, the Regulatory & Systems Genomics meeting, to be held May 25, 2026 at the Nikolaos Germanos Congress Center in Thessaloniki, Greece, in conjunction with RECOMB 2026.
After many years co-locating with the ISCB/RECOMB-DREAM community, RSG is transitioning to an official RECOMB satellite meeting. This format is intentionally discussion-first – designed to support deeper technical exchange as our field moves toward more complex models, including virtual cells and system-level integration.
RECOMB-RSG actively encourages submissions of both unpublished as well as existing, accessible work – preprints and recently published papers. The goal is to create a setting where we can explore emerging methods together, gain fresh perspectives, and spark new collaborations across the community.
Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):
Gene Regulatory Networks Single-cell Multi-omics & Spatial Transcriptomics Chromatin and Epigenomics Deep Learning and Machine Learning in Genomics Multi-modal Integration Perturbation Biology & Evolutionary Systems Biology Virtual Cell Models
Submission tracks (deadline: February 15, 2026; 23:59 AoE) Preprints Track: Original work available on arXiv/bioRxiv/medRxiv, etc. (submit a 2-page abstract; full paper must be posted by Feb 15). Highlights Track: High-impact work published in a journal after January 1, 2025 (submit a 2 page abstract). Lightning Talks (Late-Breaking): Unpublished late-breaking results or very recent publications (submit a 2-page abstract).
Note: Work rejected from main RECOMB 2026 Conference Track are also welcome for Lightning Talk consideration; please include prior reviews and a response letter.
How to submit Submissions will be handled via EasyChair. Details available via: https://recomb-rsg.github.io
We hope you’ll join us in Thessaloniki for a focused day of science and open discussion. Please feel free to share this announcement with colleagues and trainees.
Best regards,
